Distilled Chinese spirit
Dublin, Ireland
Videomaker - photographer
As a videomaker and photographer, I worked closely with Moutai, globally recognized as the most valuable liquor brand, famed for its heritage-rich baijiu, a traditional Chinese spirit distilled from fermented sorghum. During a series of high-profile events held in Dublin, I was responsible for capturing and crafting a wide range of multimedia content that supported the marketing department in introducing Moutai’s new cocktail line to a European audience.
In my role as videomaker, I created engaging video summaries of the events, weaving together vibrant footage of the atmosphere with on-site interviews. These videos captured the energy of each occasion while showcasing authentic reactions from guests who shared their impressions of the innovative new drinks. The footage was carefully edited to reflect Moutai’s luxurious yet modern aesthetic, aligning with their global brand strategy and helping to amplify their presence in new markets.
Simultaneously, I served as event photographer, producing a series of stylized images that portrayed Moutai’s iconic bottles in highly aesthetic, editorial-style compositions. The photography focused on visual storytelling, using depth of field, lighting, and soft bokeh backgrounds to enhance the elegance and prestige of the brand. For instance, one of the featured photographs depicts a Moutai bottle bathed in warm, ambient lighting, set against a background of soft, defocused lights that evoke a festive, upscale atmosphere. These images were not only used to document the events but also to elevate Moutai’s visual identity across social media, digital campaigns, and promotional materials.
This dual-role experience allowed me to merge technical skills with a strategic visual narrative, helping Moutai strengthen its market position and connect with a wider, experience-driven audience.
